Same old button which breaks

I cannot fault Waterpik’s service, and I’m glad I have the option to purchase replacement parts to repair my water flosser instead of throwing it away. After having this unit for seven years and having it replaced once under warranty because of the faulty button on the handle (which has since been redesigned to an on/off switch), I recently purchased a replacement handle after it broke yet again. I was disappointed to receive the same handle (with a push button) which has already broken twice before, instead of the redesigned handle with the switch. Hopefully it will last, however since this is now the third one I have I doubt it will last long and will no doubt need to be upgraded (hopefully to the new handle with the switch) in a year or two.

Hose replacement

A previous reviewer thought that $35 in 2022 was expensive. Since then, the cost has escalated to $45. I’m fortunate that cost is not an issue but it seems a shame to throw away a perfectly good handle if it can be avoided. Accordingly, I will attempt to repair my broken hose by applying a sleeve at the break.

Replacement hose & handle kit

The old hose started crumbling in my hands, requiring replacement. So far I am very happy with the product, although at $35.00, it appeared a bit expensive, but understand that Covid
test is applicable on everything these days. The product works great with the original flosser, with its motor still functioning perfectly after about 5 years!
